A delicious and easy-to-make grilled chicken recipe with a sweet and tangy honey lime marinade.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together the honey, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper. Whisk until the ingredients are fully combined and the honey is dissolved.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag tightly and massage the marinade into the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours to let the flavors seep in.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, ensuring the grates are clean and well-oiled.
  4. Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Rest and Garnish: Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped cilantro if desired, and prepare to serve.

Notes

This dish pairs beautifully with fresh sides like mango salsa or a light quinoa salad. Make sure to let the chicken marinate for maximum flavor.
