A perfect blend of honey and lime that creates juicy and flavorful grilled chicken, ideal for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Create the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and chili powder, if using.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Prepare the Grill: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side.
  5. Rest & Garnish: Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through but still juicy. Aim for an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
