  • 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine sliced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Whisk together flour, milk, melted butter, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  5. Layer the batter over the peaches in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Let your cobbler cool for a few moments before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, choose ripe, in-season peaches. You can also use canned peaches but make sure to drain them well.
