Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 medium-sized Croissants
  • 6 large Eggs
  • 2 cups Half and Half or Whole Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard

  2. Prepare the croissants by slicing them into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Whisk the eggs in a large bowl until well-beaten.
  4. Add the half and half (or whole milk), Dijon mustard, and salt to the eggs, whisking until combined.
  5. Layer the ham over the croissant pieces, then add the shredded cheese.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the layers, soaking the croissants.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and firm in the center.
  8. Cool for a few minutes, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy with family and friends.

Notes

Use day-old croissants for better texture. You can substitute ham with bacon or vegetables for a meatless option.
