Ham and Havarti Cheese Sliders

Juicy, creamy sliders with layers of ham and Havarti cheese, perfect for gatherings and family nights.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls, preferably Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 pound sliced ham
  • 8 ounces Havarti cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, and optional poppy seeds in a small bowl.
  3. Slice the entire pack of slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected.
  4. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Layer the sliced ham evenly over the buns.
  6. Lay the slices of Havarti cheese on top of the ham.
  7. Gently place the top half of the rolls back on.
  8. Brush the tops of the rolls with the butter mixture.
  9. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  11. Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

You can prepare the butter mixture and ham the day before. For extra gooeyness, add more Havarti cheese between layers.
