Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup peach preserves or peach jam
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard or whole-grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 to 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes or smoked paprika (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or sliced peaches for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the Pork Chops: Season your pork chops generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper on both sides. Brush them lightly with olive oil.
  2. Prepare the Peach Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the peach preserves, mustard, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic. Add optional red pepper flakes or smoked paprika if desired.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the Pork Chops: Place the pork chops on the hot grill and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
  5. Brush with Glaze: Generously brush your peach glaze over the pork chops and grill for an additional 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
  6. Rest and Serve: Remove the chops from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Drizzle with extra glaze and garnish before serving.

Notes

For maximum juiciness, let your pork chops rest before slicing. Experiment with different fruits in the glaze for variety.
