Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds flank steak or skirt steak
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeño, minced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the Marinade: In a bowl, combine lime juice, orange juice, minced garlic, jalapeño, cilantro, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate the Steak: Transfer the marinade over the steak, ensuring it’s well coated, and let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to high heat.
  4. Grill the Steak: Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  5. Let it Rest: Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Serve with Love: Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips and serve on warm tortillas with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinating overnight is ideal. Don’t skip the resting step to ensure juicy beef.
