Delight in the sweetness of grilled peaches drizzled with balsamic reduction, a perfect summer dessert.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Combine balsamic vinegar and honey in a small saucepan; simmer until reduced by half, about 10 minutes.
  3. Brush the cut sides of the peaches with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Place peaches cut-side down on the grill; cook for 4-5 minutes until grill marks appear.
  5. Flip peaches and brush with balsamic reduction; grill for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and drizzle with more balsamic reduction.
  7. Garnish with mint leaves and serve warm.

Notes
