A simple yet flavorful grilled flank steak marinated in balsamic vinegar and honey, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 1 flank steak
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, honey, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Place the flank steak in the bowl or a resealable plastic bag, making sure it’s coated with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and shake off any excess. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  5. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes after grilling.
  6. Slice the steak against the grain and serve with fresh herbs for garnish.

Notes

For richer flavor, marinate the steak overnight. Adjust marinate time if pressed for time.
