A delightful dessert that combines a tender cake base with a luscious, creamy top layer, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of cake mix (yellow or butter)
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg in a mixing bowl until well blended.
  3. Press the cake mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese, 3 eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in another bowl until smooth.
  5. Pour the creamy mixture over the pressed cake base.
  6. Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and slightly set.
  7. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes
