A quick and comforting bowl of Garlic Sesame Noodles, perfect for any occasion, featuring garlic, sesame oil, and a touch of soy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz noodles (such as spaghetti or ramen)
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, letting the steam escape so they don’t become soggy.
  2. Heat the sesame oil over medium heat in a large pan, allowing it to warm up and release its nutty fragrance.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce and allow it to cook for another minute, blending the flavors beautifully.
  5. Toss in the cooked noodles and coat them evenly with the sauce.
  6. Remove from heat, then add chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Sprinkle in the chili flakes if desired.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy the delightful burst of flavors.

Notes

These noodles can stand alone or pair well with grilled chicken, stir-fried vegetables, or crispy tofu. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
