Delightful and flavorful garlic knots made from pizza dough, perfect as an appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly flour a surface and roll out the pizza dough. Cut the dough into strips and tie them into knots.
  3. Arrange the knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  5. Brush the garlic mixture over the knots.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve fresh out of the oven, great with marinara sauce for dipping.
