A quick and delightful one-skillet dish combining juicy shrimp, hearty sausage, and vibrant broccoli in a sweet and savory glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1012 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon water (if using cornstarch)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced sausage to the skillet and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the broccoli florets, cooking for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking until they turn pink.
  5. Whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice or rice vinegar, and cornstarch mixed with water in a small bowl.
  6. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and sausage, stirring to coat evenly.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

Serve with jasmine rice or a side salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
