A comforting Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta that combines al dente pasta with succulent shrimp in a creamy garlic butter sauce, evoking nostalgia and warmth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Begin your culinary adventure by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add the linguine or spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain your pasta and set it aside, allowing it to sit in the strainer to get rid of excess water.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook the Shrimp: Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper, and cook for around 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Combine the Pasta and Shrimp: Gently stir the cooked pasta into the skillet with the shrimp. Add the chopped parsley and lemon juice, tossing everything until well combined.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Serve the Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta warm, sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
