Ingredients

Scale
  • Fresh Fish (like sole, halibut, or trout)
  • 1/2 cup White Wine
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fresh Fish: Rinse your fresh fish under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

  3. Sauté the Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Cook the Fish: Carefully place the seasoned fish in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the fish flakes easily.
  5. Deglaze with White Wine: Once the fish is cooked through, pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
  6. Add Lemon Juice and Herbs: Stir in the fresh lemon juice and chopped herbs.
  7. Final Touches: Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.

Notes

Pair with rice or mashed potatoes and enjoy with a glass of the same white wine.
