A simple yet flavorful dish of enoki mushrooms cooked in a savory garlic sauce, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 200g enoki mushrooms
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Clean the enoki mushrooms under running water and trim off the ends.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat until it shimmers.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant and golden, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the cleaned enoki mushrooms to the pan and stir gently for about 2 minutes.
  5. Mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, water, and sugar in a small bowl.
  6. Pour the sauce over the mushrooms and stir for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve alongside jasmine rice or as a topping for noodles. Leftovers can be stored for 2-3 days in the refrigerator.
