These easy chuck roast tacos are packed with flavor and feature tender, juicy beef enveloped in warm shells, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Taco shells
  • Toppings (lettuce, tomato, cheese, salsa, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sear the chuck roast on all sides until it develops a rich, brown crust.
  3. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in the skillet until the onion becomes translucent.
  4. Sprinkle chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper over the roast.
  5. Transfer the seasoned roast to a slow cooker and let it cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  6. Shred the beef using two forks once cooked.
  7. Serve the shredded beef in taco shells topped with your favorite toppings.
