  • 1 can Dr. Pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Burger buns (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Place the pork shoulder right into the slow cooker.
  2. Create a mixture of Dr. Pepper, barbecue sauce, onion, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the pork shoulder, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours.
  5. Shred the meat within the slow cooker using two forks.
  6. Serve the pulled pork on soft burger buns.
