A comforting and easy Crockpot Lasagna that’s layered with rich meat, creamy cheese, and flavorful marinara sauce, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté the meat by browning the ground beef or sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Prepare the cheese mixture by combining ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Create the base layer by spooning marinara sauce at the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Layer the noodles, half of the ricotta mixture, half of the cooked meat, marinara sauce, and mozzarella; repeat.
  5. Finish with the remaining noodles, marinara sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  6. Slow cook on low for 4-6 hours until noodles are tender.
  7. Rest for 10 minutes before serving to firm up the lasagna.

Notes

Feel free to swap the ground beef for turkey or make it vegetarian. Use no-boil lasagna noodles to save time.
