A delightful creamy one-pot meal featuring tender chicken, orzo pasta, and vibrant spinach, perfect for family dinners.

  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the diced chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the orzo pasta and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat.
  5. Let it simmer on low heat until the orzo is tender, about 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and chopped spinach. Cook until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve hot.
