A creamy pasta topped with succulent shrimp and a kick of Cajun spices, perfect for a cozy dinner.

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta according to package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Cook the shrimp and Cajun seasoning until the shrimp turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Create the sauce by pouring in heavy cream and adding Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta into the sauce, mixing until well coated, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Perfectly cooked shrimp should not be rubbery; monitor closely as they change color quickly.
