  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or seasoning of choice)
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat until bubbly and fragrant.
  2. Add the fresh corn to the pot and sauté for 3-5 minutes until kernels soften.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add salt, pepper, and seasoning to the mixture, adjusting to taste.
  5. Allow the mixture to cook on low heat for an additional 5-10 minutes until thick and creamy.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Use the freshest corn possible for best flavor. Frozen corn can be used as a shortcut.
