A rich and creamy Tex-Mex dip made with seasoned ground beef, colorful vegetables, and gooey cheese, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar or Velveeta)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Add the diced onions and bell peppers and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper, mixing well to combine.
  5. Reduce heat to low, then add the cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.

Notes

For extra creaminess, mix cheese types, and consider adding more chili powder for heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
