A comforting corn casserole that combines whole kernel corn and cream-style corn for a delightful mix of flavors and textures.

  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 stick butter (melted)
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Combine the drained whole kernel corn, cream-style corn, sour cream, melted butter, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Pour the corn mixture into your prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
