A hearty classic club sandwich with layers of turkey, bacon, and fresh veggies, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 3 slices of bread
  • 3 slices of cooked turkey or chicken
  • 3 slices of bacon, cooked
  • 2 leaves of lettuce
  • 2 slices of tomato
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slices until they are golden brown.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of the first slice of bread.
  3. Layer the first slice with turkey, lettuce, and tomato, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the second slice of bread on top and repeat with bacon, lettuce, and tomato.
  5. Top with the third slice of bread to complete the sandwich.
  6. Cut the sandwich into quarters and secure with toothpicks if desired.
  7. Serve with a side of chips or fresh salad.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, swap out regular bread for gluten-free bread. Experiment with different spreads like pesto or mustard for variation.
