A rich and creamy quiche filled with crispy bacon and nutty Gruyère cheese, perfect for any brunch occasion.

  • 1 pie crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until smooth.
  3. Place your pie crust into a pie dish, ensuring the edges fit snugly.
  4. Spread the crumbled bacon and shredded Gruyère cheese over the bottom of the pie crust.
  5. Pour the whisked egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
  6. Slide the quiche into the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes.
  7. Remove the quiche from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  8. Slice the quiche into wedges and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
