Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Prepare a bundt pan by greasing and flouring it.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
