Delightful homemade donuts coated in cinnamon sugar, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Mix the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Whisk together the milk, large eggs, and melted butter in another bowl.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently until just combined.
  5. Pipe the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about three-quarters full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Prepare the cinnamon sugar coating by mixing the sugar and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  8. Coat the cool donuts in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
