Fluffy pancakes with swirls of cinnamon-sugar, topped with cream cheese frosting for a delightful breakfast treat.

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Cream cheese frosting for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Whisk the dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  2. Combine the wet ingredients: In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Merge wet and dry ingredients: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Create the cinnamon-sugar mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Heat the skillet: Heat a skillet over medium heat and pour in about 1/4 cup of pancake batter.
  6. Swirl the cinnamon-sugar: Before the pancake sets, swirl some of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top of the batter.
  7. Flip the pancake: Cook until bubbles form, then flip carefully and cook until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle with cream cheese frosting: Serve pancakes warm, drizzled with cream cheese frosting.
