A quick and delightful dish of shrimp marinated in zesty lime and fresh cilantro, perfect for family gatherings or busy weeknights.

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, cilantro, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add the shrimp to the bowl and mix to ensure they’re evenly coated in the marinade. Allow to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until it’s hot.
  4. Cook the marinated shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with extra cilantro and lime wedges if desired.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality shrimp. Adjust garlic and lime to taste and consider adding red pepper flakes for heat.
