  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Optional: chocolate chips, nuts, or seasonal sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until well combined.
  5. Whisk together the flour and baking powder; gradually blend this into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. If desired, fold in chocolate chips, nuts, or seasonal sprinkles for an extra festive touch.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them a couple of inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Ensure butter and cream cheese are at room temperature for easy blending. For best results, avoid overmixing the dough.
