  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. Combine dry ingredients by whisking flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
  3. Cream the butter with granulated and brown sugars, along with vanilla extract, until smooth.
  4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
