Crispy and juicy chicken spring rolls that are a delight to create and enjoy. Perfect appetizer or light meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 12 spring roll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Cook the ground chicken until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Mix in shredded carrots, bean sprouts, and green onions, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in soy sauce, mixing well, and remove from heat to cool the filling.
  6. Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface, place 2-3 tablespoons of filling in the center, and roll tightly, folding in the sides.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Fry the spring rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown, turning occasionally for even cooking.
  9. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

Serve with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce for dipping. Great with a refreshing cucumber salad.
