A simple yet satisfying dish that highlights garlic’s bold flavor, perfect for busy weeknights or special dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in a bowl with soy sauce and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Cook the marinated chicken in the pan until golden and thoroughly cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and oyster sauce; stir and bring to a simmer.
  6. Finish with sesame oil and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Thicken the sauce by cooking for a few more minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
