A comforting Chicken & Stuffing Casserole that’s perfect for busy weeknights, bringing warmth and flavor to your table.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package (6 ounces) stuffing mix
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth in a large mixing bowl. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the cream cheese mixture. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Combine the stuffing mix with 2 cups of boiling water and 2 tablespoons of butter in a separate bowl. Stir until moistened.
  6. Evenly spread the prepared stuffing over the chicken mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the topping is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This dish pairs beautifully with a crisp green salad or steamed vegetables. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
