A creamy and satisfying breakfast made with chia seeds, perfect for a nutritious start to your day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 12 tablespoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or sugar, optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh fruit, nuts, or granola for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the chia seeds, milk, sweetener, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Stir well to avoid clumping.
  2. Let the mixture sit for about 5-10 minutes, then stir again to help the seeds absorb the moisture and become gel-like.
  3. Refrigerate the covered bowl for at least 120 minutes or overnight until the mixture thickens.
  4. Serve chilled, topped with fresh fruit, nuts, or granola if desired.

Notes

Make sure to stir well after adding the chia seeds to prevent clumping. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
