Delightful cheesy stuffed mushrooms filled with garlic and breadcrumbs, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms (cremini or portobello)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Gently wash the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Mix the sautéed garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Spoon the cheesy mixture into each mushroom cap.
  6. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake the stuffed mushrooms for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley before serving warm.

Notes

These mushrooms can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake. Experiment with different types of cheese for varied flavors.
