A hearty and satisfying dish combining tender potatoes, smoky sausage, and melty cheddar cheese, perfect for family gatherings.

  • 4 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the diced potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Spread the seasoned potatoes evenly on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Bake the potatoes for about 25 minutes until they start to soften.
  5. Add the sliced smoked sausage after 25 minutes.
  6. Bake again for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the potato and sausage mixture.
  8. Final melting of cheese in the oven for 5 minutes or until melted and bubbly.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

You can add bell peppers or broccoli for extra nutrition. Feel free to use different cheeses or proteins as desired.
