Delicious cheesy garlic cruffins made with flaky croissant dough and a rich cheese filling.

  • 1 package croissant dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parchment paper (for baking)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the croissant dough on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Mix together the shredded cheese, minced garlic, melted butter, and dried Italian herbs in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Cut the rolled-out croissant dough into triangles, roughly 4-5 inches in width.
  5. Place a spoonful of the cheesy garlic mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  6. Roll the dough towards the tip to form the cruffin shape.
  7. Place your rolled cruffins upright in a muffin tin lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake the cruffins in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let the cruffins cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

These cruffins are best enjoyed fresh. If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
