Delicious warm cookies filled with a rich, creamy cheesecake center and loaded with chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  8. Scoop a tablespoon of cookie dough, flatten it, and place a teaspoon of the cheesecake filling in the center. Wrap the dough around the filling.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Freeze for longer storage.
