A warm, comforting cheeseburger soup that combines beef, cheddar, and potatoes for a nostalgic, hearty meal.

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brown the Ground Beef: In a large pot over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Sauté the Aromatics: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Drain Any Excess Fat: Carefully drain any excess fat from the pot.
  4. Pour in the Beef Broth: Add the beef broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Add Diced Potatoes: Toss in the diced potatoes, bring back to a boil, then reduce to simmer until tender.
  6. Stir in Worcestershire Sauce and Milk: Mix in the Worcestershire sauce and milk until well combined.
  7. Cheese it Up: Add the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
