A delicious and healthy alternative to traditional pizza crust made from cauliflower, perfect for guilt-free dinners and impressing guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cauliflower, riced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Your choice of pizza toppings (sauce, vegetables, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Use a food processor to rice the cauliflower until it resembles small grains. Then, steam it until soft—about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Once steamed, let the cauliflower cool. Then, using a cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel, squeeze out the excess moisture.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the drained cauliflower, mozzarella, parmesan, egg, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping it into a circular crust.
  6. Place the crust in your preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until it turns golden brown and crispy.
  7. Add your favorite sauce, cheese, and toppings, and pop it back in the oven for another 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, slice, and serve!

Notes

For best results, ensure the cauliflower is as dry as possible. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses or herbs.
