A flavorful blend of penne pasta, succulent chicken, vibrant vegetables, and a rich, creamy Cajun sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with Cajun seasoning, ensuring every bite is packed with flavor.
  3. Sauté the chicken in a large skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Sauté the bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic in the same skillet until the vegetables are soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Create the creamy sauce by adding heavy cream to the skillet and bringing it to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta and sliced chicken with the sauce, stirring to combine and allowing it to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Final touches: Season with salt and pepper to taste, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, do not overcook the chicken. Customize the Cajun seasoning and add more vegetables as desired.
