A flavorful Cajun Butter Shrimp dish, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a special occasion.

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter and oil: In a large skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the garlic: Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the Cajun seasoning: Stir in the Cajun seasoning and cook for another minute.
  4. Cook the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until shrimp turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Toss with lemon juice: Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and toss to coat.
  6. Garnish and serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use fresh shrimp. Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste, and don’t skip the lemon.
