A comforting bowl of noodles coated in rich butter, aromatic garlic, and zesty Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti or any noodles of your choice
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the noodles in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the noodles and reserve about half a cup of pasta water.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in melted butter over medium heat until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Combine the drained noodles with the garlic butter mixture.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese and stir, using reserved pasta water if needed for a silky sauce.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve.

Notes

Taste as you go to adjust flavors and consider adding red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
