Quick, delicious cookies that combine the rich taste of brownies with the delightful chew of cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (18.3 oz) brownie mix
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Combine the brownie mix, egg, and vegetable oil in a large bowl and stir until just combined.
  4. Add chocolate chips or nuts if desired and fold them into the cookie dough.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are firm.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
