  • 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic (minced or garlic powder to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (or to taste)
  • 8 to 12 slices regular cut bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing or lining it with foil or parchment paper.
  3. Mix the brown sugar, minced garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Coat the chicken pieces with the brown sugar mixture, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Wrap each coated chicken piece with 1 to 2 slices of bacon, securing the ends underneath.
  6. Arrange the bacon-wrapped chicken in the baking dish with some space between each piece.
  7. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is browned.
  8. Broil for a few minutes for extra crispiness if desired.
