A delightful Bourbon Chicken recipe that highlights humble ingredients spun together into something truly magical.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, diced
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the diced chicken in the skillet until browned.
  4. Add the bourbon mixture to the chicken and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped green onions just before serving.

Notes
