A comforting and nostalgic blueberry crumble that combines sweet and slightly tangy berries with a buttery oat topping.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine blueberries, granulated sugar, and 1 tablespoon of flour in a mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the blueberry mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Mix oats, remaining flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract, stirring until combined.
  6. Spread the crumble topping over the blueberries.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, possibly with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
