A nostalgic and delicious classic BLT sandwich featuring crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and creamy mayonnaise on toasted bread.

Ingredients

  • Bacon
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Bread
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon by heating a skillet over medium heat, adding the strips and cooking until crispy and golden brown.
  2. Toast your slices of bread to your preferred level of crispness.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
  4. Layer lettuce leaves on one slice followed by juicy tomato slices.
  5. Add the crispy bacon on top of the vegetables.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Complete the sandwich by placing the other slice of bread on top, mayonnaise side down, and cut in half.

Notes

For a twist, try adding avocado or a fried egg. Store components separately if you have leftovers.
